What happens in an Ayurvedic consultation

An Ayurvedic consultation at our Deira centre is a proper medical appointment. The doctor takes a detailed history of your complaint, digestion, sleep, energy, stress and menstrual health where relevant, and reviews any reports you bring. Pulse, tongue and physical examination help the doctor understand your constitution (prakriti) and the current imbalance (vikriti) behind your symptoms.

You then receive a written plan. It may include therapies at the centre, Ayurvedic medicines, dietary adjustments and daily-routine changes. The doctor explains what improvement to expect, over what timeframe, and when to review.

Every doctor at Vaidika holds a recognised Ayurvedic medical degree and is licensed to practise by the Dubai Health Authority. Therapies are prescribed by the doctor and delivered by trained therapists, and your progress is reviewed at set intervals rather than left to run on its own.

Preparing for your appointment

Bring your Emirates ID, insurance card and any recent test results or prescriptions. Avoid a heavy meal in the hour before the appointment. If you would like a therapy on the same day, wear comfortable clothing and allow an extra hour.
