Panchakarma treatment in Dubai
Ayurveda's classical cleansing and restoration programme, planned and supervised by a doctor from the first day to the last.
DHA-licensed Insurance accepted Opposite Deira City Centre
What Panchakarma is
Panchakarma is the group of five classical cleansing procedures at the heart of Ayurvedic treatment. It is not a single massage or a spa package. A full programme has three phases: preparation (Purvakarma) with medicated oil applications and herbal steam, the main cleansing procedures (Pradhanakarma), and a structured recovery phase (Paschatkarma) where diet and routine are gradually rebuilt.
At Vaidika in Deira, every Panchakarma programme is designed by a DHA-licensed Ayurvedic doctor after a full consultation. The doctor selects which procedures you need, in what sequence, and reviews you during the programme.
Panchakarma procedures offered
- Abhyanga and Swedana: full-body medicated oil massage followed by herbal steam, used in the preparatory phase and as standalone therapy
- Virechana: medicated purgation to clear the digestive tract
- Vasti: medicated enemas, considered the principal procedure for joint, spine and nervous-system complaints
- Nasya: medicated nasal administration for head, neck, sinus and sleep concerns
- Shirodhara: a continuous stream of warm oil on the forehead for stress and sleep, often combined within a programme
Raktamokshana (bloodletting) is not offered.
Who Panchakarma is for
Doctors at our Deira centre recommend Panchakarma as part of management plans for chronic back and joint pain, digestive complaints, stress and burnout, weight management, skin conditions and seasonal preventive care. It is also used by people who feel generally run down and want a supervised reset.
Panchakarma is adjusted or avoided in pregnancy, during acute illness, and with certain medical conditions. The doctor will tell you honestly if it is not right for you now.
A typical programme in Dubai
Because Vaidika is an outpatient centre, you come in daily, usually for 60 to 120 minutes, and go home afterwards. Programmes commonly run 7, 14 or 21 days. Sessions are available from 10:00 to 22:00 so that a programme can fit around work. You will receive a written diet and routine plan for each phase, and the doctor reviews you at set points.
To find out whether Panchakarma is right for you, book a consultation with one of our doctors.

Questions about panchakarma
How long does a Panchakarma programme take?
Most programmes at our Deira centre run for 7, 14 or 21 days, with daily sessions of 60 to 120 minutes. The doctor sets the length after your consultation.
Do I have to stay at the centre?
No. Vaidika is an outpatient centre. You attend daily sessions and go home, which suits people working in Dubai. The doctor will advise on diet and rest between sessions.
Is Panchakarma safe?
When prescribed and supervised by a licensed doctor it is generally well tolerated. Certain conditions, pregnancy and some medications need adjustments or exclusion, which is why a consultation always comes first.
What should I eat during Panchakarma?
You will receive a simple written diet plan. It is usually light, warm and freshly cooked food, with specific guidance for each phase of the programme.
Can I do Panchakarma for weight loss or stress?
Panchakarma is used as part of management plans for weight, stress, digestive and joint complaints. Whether it is suitable for you depends on the doctor's assessment.
Is Panchakarma covered by insurance in Dubai?
Some plans cover parts of the programme. Send us your insurance card on WhatsApp and we will check what applies before you commit.
